We prioritize choral excellence as our foundational goal. Singers are provided with a choral experience designed to give our participants musical as well as personal growth.
Emphasis is placed on the skills required to expertly learn music and perform with confidence, dedication, and artistic expression.

​We believe that this work ethic instills character qualities which can be applied to many other challenging situations in life providing our choristers with the strength and skills needed to pursue their dreams.

Vinjana Chorale San Francisco is currently under the leadership of Christopher Street and Othello Jefferson (Artistic Directors) and is a proud collaborator and partner with
San Francisco Unified School District.

Membership to the choir is open to anyone from grades K-12 who is willing to sing,
​with no fee or audition required.

The choir performs choral music in a variety of genre and settings within the Bay Area and abroad.

Qualifications to join 
 Vinjana Chorale SF:
​
• Be available for regular rehearsal

• Be willing to abide by rules and guidelines developed by the choir

• Represent the Vinjana Chorale SF with respect

​• Be patient and dependable
